DTF Heat Press Instructions (Cold Peel)

For best results, use a commercial heat press. Home irons are not recommended.

1. Pre-Press

• Pre-press garment for 5-10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.

2. Position Transfer

• Place transfer on garment with the design facing up.
• Ensure garment is flat and lint-free.

3. First Press

• Temperature: 320°F (160°C)
• Pressure: Medium to Firm
• Time: 20 seconds

4. Cold Peel

• Allow transfer to cool completely to room temperature.
• Slowly peel film away from the garment.

5. Second Press (Recommended)

• Cover design with parchment paper, butcher paper, or a Teflon sheet.
• Press for 5-10 seconds using the same temperature and pressure.

This helps improve durability, softness, and wash resistance.

Following these care instructions will maximize the life of your print.

Wash

✅ Turn garment inside out

✅ Machine wash cold

✅ Use mild detergent

✅ Wash with similar colors

Dry

✅ Tumble dry low heat

OR

✅ Hang dry for longest print life

Avoid

❌ Bleach

❌ Fabric softeners

❌ Dry cleaning

❌ High heat drying

❌ Ironing directly on the design

If Ironing Is Needed

• Turn garment inside out, OR
• Place parchment paper over the design before ironing.
